Dutifully incubating

As we all go about our days the eagles on our eaglecam2 are also devoted to a task...they are incubating 2 eggs! The eggs could hatch as early as May 6th so please keep an eye on the web cam. Thanks a bunch for enjoying the webcams!

  1. Then I have to ask...when will the cam start working BRI? We only see about 4 seconds of streaming video and the 15 second updates take seconds, minutes and or hours to update. Will we all miss the hatch date or is BRI going to fix the problem? Are the other cams more important than the majestic symbol of the United States? The American Bald Eagle!

  2. I've been away for ten days and have been checking both eagle cams. This one will NOT come in live. But I just saw two eagles on the Eagle cam 1 and the live cam was working. Sure hope this one is fixed before the eggs hatch, also! Thanks, BRI!

  4. As I posted yesterday and your post of today still hasn't answered our question:
I think all of us can understand technical difficulties, but why can't someone from BRI please tell us what is happening and if/when the problem will be fixed. After last year's disaster (losing the chicks) I was very much looking forward to seeing this year's eggs hatch. It is extremely disappointing not to be able to view the nest and even more disappointing that no response is forthcoming from BRI.

I really don't mean to be sarcastic, but how can we enjoy the web cam when it isn't working? Does anyone there even read the posts? From what Patrick said in his message dated yesterday, it doesn't sound like it. I know wer're all going to miss the eggs hatching. I'm just about ready to give the whole thing up and support another web cam.

  6. I am also wondering along with the previous posts, when will streaming video and sound be fixed, and will it be before the chicks hatch?

With all the publicity surrounding this cam, can more attention be given to see that it works. Cam #1 without any eagle activity is working fine, day and night, along with sound. It's cam#2 that should be monitored better since nesting is now definite.

    Please help.
